Terri Jowers

Terri Jowers is a dedicated public health leader and advocate serving as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Community Health Worker Association (SCCHWA). A founding member of the organization, she champions the role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) as essential bridges between healthcare systems and underserved communities. She is a certified Community Health Worker (CCHW) herself, bringing lived experience and a focus on social justice to her leadership.
