Jimmell Felder, MD, MBA, FAAP, DABOM

Dr. Jimmell Felder is a board-certified pediatrician and obesity medicine specialist with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She currently leads the Health Equity Advisory Taskforce at Self Regional Healthcare. In addition to her hospital leadership, she is the founder of New Creation Wellness, LLC, a medical weight management practice.

A graduate of Duke University, Dr. Felder earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and completed her residency in Pediatrics at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. Complementing her clinical training with executive expertise, she holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Tennessee. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (DABOM), and possesses a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
